ACCA Oklahoma is off and running! You need to join now! All contractors, large or small, have concerns, including contractors in rural Oklahoma. Make your voice be heard! Changes cannot be made unless you are heard, and we can't do it alone. We need you!
ACCA is the largest voice for HVAC contractors in the nation. Now, let's make ACCA the largest voice in Oklahoma. We are already making ACCA known at the State Capitol, with the help of Mark Bledsoe, our chapter manager and legislative liaison. Senators and House members are very excited about working with us. We are presently working with them regarding several bills that will directly affect all contractors.
As a member of ACCA, you will have access to a new service called Legal Tools. It can be utilized through our website at www.acca.org. Utilizing Legal Tools, you will be able to ask questions of our legal council and the answer will be posted. Several questions regarding overtime compensation, salaried employees, payroll deductions, laying off an employee who always gets hurt, and lunch break compensation are currently posted. This valuable tool will pay for your dues many, many times over. This is only one of the many members services that ACCA provides.
